Artist's Description

These are one of the most difficult dragonflies to photograph. They are small in size (1.25 in), secretive, and very flighty. There was a large emergence of Eastern amberwings this morning and found this very cooperative individual that stuck around for over 300 images. Breezy conditions made this a very difficult process well.
