Weather forecasters predicted the cold correctly, but totally missed the snow prediction this morning. Near white-out conditions and heavy snow squalls have been rolling through all morning. This resulted in lots of great views of hungry birds braving the cold to get some food. This tree sparrow was eating snow to get some moisture.
