Lyretail anthias are colorful fish that live within Pacific tropical coral reefs. They live in large shoals and feed on the abundant zooplankton that are present near coral reefs. The eyes of these fish are colorful and used macrophotography techniques to capture this specific region on the fish.
About Jim Zablotny
Jim Zablotny is a natural historian, entomologist, and nature photographer from Fenton, Michigan. His present work emphasizes color, detail, and bold composition of natural subjects.
