Artist's Description
I have been reviewing some of my older images and found this one tucked away on the hard drive. This dragonfly was photographed on a windy day near a pond in Shiawassee County, Michigan. Pennants usually fold their wings up after landing, but the wind kept it from doing that while balanced on the horsetail.
