Artist's Description

This is a photo that I took a long time ago with my old K10D. Green clown gobies live among the branches of Acropora corals where they are known to remove small parasitic copepods and invasive algae from the coral. The coral provides a nice network of hideouts for the goby so both partners benefit from this relationship. This coral is actually infested with parasitic copepods and I was able to witness this tiny fish removing the parsites while feeding.
