This afternoon's weather included snow, high winds, and extremely cold conditions and the feeders were busy with activity. At least 8 Northern cardinals began showing up with hordes of goldfinches, blue jays,juncos, and a single common grackle. This male was one of the few that decided not to remain concealed in the branches between visits to the feeders.
