While at Whitefish Point, I took a break from trying to photograph migrating raptors and headed into the Jack pines. A black capped chickadee began bathing in a puddle of water from the recent snow-melt. The 45 degree air temperature did not seem to bother this bird as it splashed away in the ice cold water.......................Jim
Jim Zablotny is a natural historian, entomologist, and nature photographer from Fenton, Michigan. His present work emphasizes color, detail, and bold composition of natural subjects.
