Artist's Description

Male bay-breasted warblers have an interesting color pattern of black, gray, chestnut brown, and a peach colored spot behind the head. Feeding on small midges, these birds came down fairly low for a fairly descent look.

Jim Zablotny is a natural historian, entomologist, and nature photographer from Fenton, Michigan. His present work emphasizes color, detail, and bold composition of natural subjects.
